MEADOWHALL

Project overview

When Portland Design introduced us to British Land in 2013 for a pilot scheme at Mayflower retail park in Basildon, it marked the beginning of a lasting relationship. Impressed with our work, British Land asked us to roll out their new signage programme to six more shopping centres. Following these projects, we adopted a more bespoke, personalised approach, incorporating digital signage. Our expertise in digital wayfinding made us the perfect choice for these projects. At Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield, we collaborated with Portland Design to create bespoke digital wayfinding signs. Over a two-year redevelopment, we supplied all digital hardware, totems, and signage, enhancing the mall’s distinct districts and creating a modern, welcoming consumer experience.
